Alone

It’s raining as I write this. (Or at least it was, XD)
Anyway, let’s get down to it. Many of us feel really…alone. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I mean, sometimes we just want to go to the bedroom and slam the door as hard as we can.
But sometimes, we want to connect, but it doesn’t really work. We try. But sometimes we just can’t get through to others.
Or maybe someone else isn’t acting the way they should. I have seen this happen a lot, and I know a lot of people that have felt like this.
Or maybe the problem is circumstance. Maybe things don’t work out. Your plans for, say, a party, don’t ever get off the drawing board. Maybe it’s the schedule.

Or maybe it’s the world.

One of God’s gifts to us is the joy of fellowship. But it’s not always the right time for it. God knows, but we don’t always know the reasons. And he doesn’t always tell us. (He doesn’t have to, he’s God!) You don’t need to feel alone. God is your Savior. He is in control of this universe and everything in it.
If it is God’s will for you to have friends, then you will have friends. God cannot deny himself. They will come. Don’t worry. But even if you don’t have friends right now (or if you don’t think you have friends right now), God is there for you.
I know. You’re probably thinking, ‘God doesn’t care about me. All these stupid and terrible things keep happening to me!’ But God uses everything for a reason. Maybe it’s to mold you into something better. Maybe it’s to teach you a lesson that you haven’t learned yet. Or maybe it’s to draw you back to Him. Whatever the reason, there is a reason.
Don’t worry. God is in control.

You’re not alone in feeling alone.
